The educational program "Designing and Operation of Nuclear Power Plants" is aimed to train the specialists for atomic power engineering.

The program aims the students to follow the rules of safety culture at all stages of nuclear facilities' life. The graduates participate in improving and development of technologies in view of sustainable power generation, effective use of nuclear fuel, minimization of nuclear waste and increase of safety of nuclear power plants. The advanced educational technologies of training in the sphere of atomic energy are used.

The peculiarity of the program is the opportunity to receive practical skills during the learning. The up-to-date training facilities and collaboration with the leading enterprises of the nuclear industry ensure the high professional level of graduates.

The students undergo practical training at the enterprises of Rosatom, which gives them opportunity to receive gradually the needed qualification and ensures the inclusion of graduates into work without additional training.

The program ensures the obtainment of the fundamental knowledge in natural and technical science, which is sufficient to take postgraduate course. The students participate in real scientific work and obtain the skills of planning and implementation of theoretical and experimental research. The priority of active study forms the professional competences, skills of team-work and leader qualities.
