The program is relevant due to the geopolitical situation and the global environmental crisis: changes in the regulatory framework in the field of carbon regulation, the need for non-financial and integrated reporting, the entry of Russian companies into the Asia-Pacific region, the introduction of new green economy tools.
To strengthen the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation, in demand are specialists who are able to manage sustainable development projects and programs using domestic digital solutions for working with ESG data streams, capable of creating systems for managing data on the impact of an organization. To create such solutions, it is necessary to have not only knowledge of digital systems engineering basics, but also research competencies in the field of measuring the impact of an organization on the environment and society.
