The purpose of the program "5.2.1 Economic Theory" is to develop skills and conduct research in the fields of general economic theory, economic history, and the history of economic thought, as well as in the methodology of economic science. The program provides an opportunity for post-graduate students to master scientific and pedagogical skills in order to build a teaching career in a university setting.

- master’s degree in Business and Economics (or related field);
- research proposal (preferably);
- entrance Exams.
Program Features:
The program «5.2.1 Economic Theory» is aimed at creating the competencies of post-graduate students in the following areas:
- research activities in the field of economic theory, economic history and the history of economic thought;
- the study of the theory and methodology of fundamental and applied research in economic theory;
- the creation of economic and mathematical models within the framework of economic theory;
- the development of research program for economic theory in order to collect and analyze empirical data and systematize the results of the conducted research;
- the ability to meaningfully interpret and apply results of economic research;
- teaching activities in educational programs of higher education, creation of educational programs.
