The unique educational program “Customer Service in Sports and Recreation Industry” was developed jointly with the main employers in the industry and has been successfully implemented since 2014. All the largest and most promising employers in the field of sport and fitness services are involved in the educational process. The program is focused on effective forms and methods of organizing sport and recreational services production, developing and implementing special programs aimed at attracting and interacting with all groups of consumers in order to improve their health, to maintain their health and physical development on the basis of meeting their needs and demands.

Students study and practice the main functional areas: participant accreditation to various events, communication with departments and their representatives, language services, logistics, personnel selection and management, sport and culture event organization, participant accommodation, innovative technologies. Students are allowed to manage and operate culture and sport facilities, provide catering services and other activities in the learning process.

Besides, students receive a specialty of controller-supervisor – stewards. A steward is a specialist who is responsible for the safety and comfort of spectators, participants at sport and concert events. The new specialty is highly in demand.

Under-graduate students of the “Service” direction are involved in providing service activities for various events - from university to international level. Thus, our students perform serious work at events in the framework of their future specialty. They are defined to the direction and duties range: in the protocol service, in guest reception and accommodation, catering, etc. According to the organizers, our students successfully manage all the duties assigned to them.

Potential employers: large companies of the sports and fitness industry, business centres, exhibition halls and complexes, branch offices of foreign companies, consulates of foreign countries, state and municipal officials.
